Bastard pikey diesel thieving scum

You can get a little black box about the size of 2l oil can. It has an infa red beam run by a P9 battery. Once beam is broken it fires up a cheap mobile inside silently and rings the number you put in the memory.

It takes about 2 minutes from activation to the first ring.

You can strap it anywhere from a fence to the underneath of a truck.

Allowing you to hot foot it to the yard. So the story can continue…

If it’s a regular thing why are the Police not doing what they are supposed to do? ie sort it, not just accept it and hand out crime numbers ffs :smiling_imp: (rhetorical question already know the answer) Yeh, I know, knocking the Police again but am I right, or am I wrong??

Your sort of wrong and right. His company might not be alone. I bet there are more in the area getting targeted. Catching the sods is hard work and it is best to catch them with the fuel in the back along with the pumping equipment as it isn’t worth the time and effort to catch them with just the pumping equipment.

As you know i know this from experience. I used to patrol an area where the fuel was being taken left right and centre. it used to happen on a nightly basis but the scum stopped nicking it on the days i was knocking about. When i was on a rest day for two days the firms got hit hard. It’s like they knew where you were at a certain time

when in security we were a key/alarm/■■■■■■ response for a group of cash and carry,s based in the midlands, 1 warehouse used to get hit badly in the months coming up to xmas, the alarms were also on police response, but due to poor maintenance on the alarm system this response was withdrawn, and because of poor security measures around the site and the fact the company ignored any ideas to improve the site security the police more or less said they were on their own… funny though that after a few more break ins there was an investigation and turned out the stock that was claimed on insurance was alot more then the items actually taken!!

Perimeter fence completely covered with all the fifth wheel grease you can muster.

It will never ever wash out of any clothes they’re wearing. Not ever. A guy I used to work with was always having kids coming over the fence into his garden to retrieve stuff. He eventually painted the top foot of the fence with fifth wheel grease. After a couple more times it stopped.

Taint the tank - would be my favoured option. Drain the tank, and for a period of time use a fuel card. fill the tank with as much dodgy diesel as you can. Give them a few weeks of 90% diesel, then lower the rate. Salt water is good, as would a little petrol to the mix. Waste oil would make identification of the culprits easy - as it would smoke excessively. I would think a good ambush would pay dividends, but the cost to those dishing it out could rebound. I think you probably want to target the police. The local beat bobby would be my first port of call. Start there and work up.

ps keep a sample of your tainted load of diesel as this can be used as evidence in a trial - if they were to match then the scum have very little defence.

Mate of mine did that in the 1990’s. Used to park in the Morton Lane carpark in center of Beverley. Had a wagon with twin tanks. So he filled one tank with all the crap he could think of, parked the wagon so they couldn’t get to the other one and sure enough come Monday morning it was empty. Never again did they nick his diesel.

The company i used to work for had a delivery of diesel just before xmas. friday there cctv alarm system packed in they got into work this morning to find the gate broke open. diesel tank had been drilled and they estimate 33.000 ltrs of diesel gone . tell me that this was not a inside job. like most fuel theft it only takes one bad apple. and yes i know 33 .000 ltrs is a lot to move. but this is a blue chip company . this must have been a very well organised gang

I’d go with the tainting idea. not really the same scale of theft, but people kept stealing milk off my front doorstep.cancel milk delivery. Using a thin needle syringe, extract some milk without breaking the seal, then top it up with wee. put it on front doorstep. go to bed. get up next morning to big pile of puke 100 yards down the road. much lol’s ensued.

lot of tainting going on here meaning a lot of work getting it back out again, i know at 4am i wouldnt be wanting too ■■■■ out tainted tank too fill it with good fuel, best just coming home with enough fuel in the tank too get you too the nearest fueling point in the morning, that way after the diesel suckers have came back a few times and got next too nothing then they move on and hardly bother you, works for my boss
