I’m parked on A2 by old tip coast bound with my front end 10ft from Lorry in front behind me is a gap big enough for a 26 t rigid but not an artic !
I’ve been here 2 hours when in my mirror I see a truck mount verge an squeeze him self in gap then he gets out of cab come to my window and demands I move forward ! My reply foxtrot Alfa

nope.not unless they move Scandinavia a thousand miles east…theyre not likely to have Taliban drivers as usually that lot are even more racist than us over here.adolfs ayrian master race are alive and kicking up there.i was there for 6 weeks last year,and you wont see a lot of them with jbs for the swedes.
ee,eastern bloc,romania,bulgaria,poles,latvians,lithuania etc.flipflops,or Taliban cabbage eaters…ive ran with a few of them are there just drivers same as anywhere.paddys,scousers,geordies and jocks,if the name fits just use it. :unamused:

There is a fair chance the driver was probably desperate for a ■■■■■■■■■■■■ late at night, in a foreign country with pathetic amounts of proper truck parking & doesn’t know the area.

I sympathise to be honest.

I’d like to see the members of this forum learn a foreign language and spent 2 weeks away from home and family. (Before you say they don’t learn English, I find they know enough to get the job done. How much Polish/Romanian/German/Dutch/French/Spanish do you know?) Not saying I could, or would want to, but there we are.

  1. Parts of Scandinavia a further east than parts of Eastern Europe, Finland (which isn’t Scandinavian) is much further east than most of Europe.

  2. Eastern European drivers work all over Scandinavia.

Flip flop.

This item is usually seen in a pair. (Unless on display outside Poundworld or Amputeeworld).

Flip flops can often be observed adorning the gnarly over tanned steroid ridden feet of your local bald headed middle aged bellend, who walks down the street like he is the local hero.

I think the OP has been misunderstood, His terminology is meant as an endearment…Not in anyway as a deferentual remark…I’ve unfortunately heard em called far worse,…By the traffic planner…Poor soul has resorted to taking valium…says he’s thinking off ending it all…or taking his HGV licence

Told to Me by a Dutch driver, when I confessed to having no words of Dutch in My vocabulary(when I was at Frans Maas), when as usual he had good English, “But for you is what language to learn, dutch german French maybe Spanish, problem yes. For Me it is English no problem”, and there in lies the problem, English is a global language, but I do wish I’d learnt foreign language, but for now I’ll start with a local one, like Polish :smiley:

ok then smartipants. :slight_smile: …if your Scandinavian,your not a flipflop…if your ee or anything remotely resembling it,then you are…or as mentioned before, Taliban.there might be some of them working over Scandinavia,but ive family in Sweden,with Swedish inlaws etc,and they are generally refreshingly racist.if your a brit/irish then your not deemed so bad as your pink,but the ee mob or non pinks tend to get the cold shoulder to put it mildly for employent and general attitudes.its frowned upon if you cant speak Swedish…if you go to work there,then you can sit a 6 month government course to learn the language and when you pass,they give you £3000…not too shabby.

Don’t know if it’s going of the thread…but dun two week trip last October…Sweden…Upsalla…Bornholm…Then Arhus Denmark… They tend to sway to employing ex Yugoslavia Drivers…? ?..Did not speak to one Dutch plated Lorry that was driven by Dutchman…Spanish driver told me situation was same in Spain
