What has been a bad year has just been turned into an absolutly brill year ,was just look on commercial motor mag web site and reading who has gone under to see A R LUNN has gone to the wall,has made my year,i’m H A P P Y,x 5 as the song goes,and before you all shout about the poor drivers lossing thier jobs,i never met a good 1 there.

Yes it is. They are supposed to ensure no malpractice has taken place. I have this in writing from both the Kent Police and the Insolvency Service. If you know different, do tell us your source.
They are the functions and responsibilities of the Official Receiver as set out in S132 Insolvency Act 1986, not those of an appointed Administrator. The powers and responsibilities of an Administrator are set out elsewhere in the Act and they do not include investigation of malpractice. The Administrator’s function is to keep the business running while attempts are made to either save it in its entirety, save part of it and sell off the rest, or sell off everything, all in order to get the best result for the creditors (in the case of Winding-up proceedings).
