Look mate. With what you have said above, I would say you have every right to be bitter… But against fellow drivers??

I would like to add, that I miss all of those companies that have fallen. I do miss seing Lunn’s trucks on the road - and will miss Elites if the worse case scenario pans out. I dont hold any bitterness to those who have legitimately gone to the wall, despite all their best efforts to avoid such. But… I do feel anger at those bosses that go bust, and restart the next day leaving behind all their creditors.

What do you define as “running bent” if i may ask? There seems to be a broad spectrum of understanding of that phrase nowadays. Here in Canada for example we might consider going a few hours over our time as slightly dodgy, yet on trucknet I’ve recently seen people describe legitimate 15hr spreads as ‘running bent’ or tipping off card as such, which in my opinion is completely ridiculous. So what did Lunns have you do, or ask you to do that was so bad? I’m presuming we’re talking pre-digital tacho days here?
