or is it a physcological thing as you never see the instalation process. One day they just appear with no cabiling being done. The phycological factor is much more of a deterent, so i think that they dont infact work half of the time

I used to travel down the A46 every day and the cabling went in months before the poles arrived on the scene and then about 6 months later the vultures appeared.

so after all thse replies
i have only seen one that says that they were prosecuted from an average speed camera.Therefore it sems to me that they are an urban myth and don’t work.Not for trucks anyway
