I’m not really sure why everyone is having problems with this kind of system. My FH4 is perfect at the AEBS and ACC. The DAF E6 i’ve been driving for about 3 half days now is as perfect as my Volvo in regards to AEBS and ACC.
I’ve been driving the normal roads to what i’d normally drive. Major motorways at rush-hour and major motorways in the middle of the night but also busy and quiet A roads and not a wink from the system since turning the engine on.
I’d say go see a technician
