I’m having a number of Astran Scania 142 tractor units built for me in 1.50 scale by the manufacturer Alan Smith or ‘ASAM’. Anyone interested in one, each of which will be fully detailed down to the correct LHD and numberplates, and complete with display case, kindly PM me :slight_smile:

Hi guys i’ll scan when i can i’m going on shift now for a few days the book was from around 1969 by corgi toys, its a bit like an christmas annual with pictures of the corgi toys in it!

this is my latest project , an LBS140 in the astran colours , it`s almost finished , a few details to go.


i also have the decals for the chris hooper transconti and a few mercedes SK models :sunglasses:

there will be 2 spare tires fitted behind the cab , an kysor and a roofrack will be placed on the roof , a tir plate on the grille and i must paint the wheel from the trailer in yellow

completed the cab`s interior and fitted the mirrors , the roofrack wil be sprayed red once more and the will be some bags and boxes on top of it , and in the middle an kysor airco

allmost finished , a few details will be fitted later this week

i started also a new project , an volvo FB89 6x4 with an open drawbar , the drawbar will be loaded with a few agriculture machines.

this will also be an ASTRAN model :sunglasses:

Great looking models but would a 140 unit, which would have been around in the early/mid 70s be pulling a tri axle trailer?
Seriously not trying to be piccy, just an observation.

hiya,
northern ireland trailers had tri axle trailers in the late 60s pulled them when working for killingbeck’s, thanks harry long retired.
