Hi graham, whos doing that creamy job then ?How do ya stand on visas, and whats the route from egypt, as i wasnt sure if i could see one, and i didnt realise the saudis had a problem with israel, however i am fairly ignorant of the politics of that area,.How long is the boat journey,
Has He been refused entry Graham or has He turned round for safety reasons?
I’ll bet thats a tub doing Venice to Egypt if its a freighter.
Maybe KTJ will be heading that way with “The Sailor Boys”
Now He’s give us the nod…
Hi guys, can anyone tell me if problems with visas being refused are because you have a brit passport? i.e. is the truck refused or the driver? I worked for a dutch company so dutch reg plate, they seem to be able to go any place! (look on toprun) and did Astrans always regester there trucks in the uk? cheers

No the problem with the passports etc is if you have been into israel, syrians will refuse you entry to there country and also it look like the saudis wont like it either, its not your nationality its if ya have been , or are suspected of going to israel.
Cheers richmond, i was chatting to a very well respected member of this parish (wont say who so he does not get pestered!) about Iran transit visas i was led to belive it
s a big no no since 79. BUT you can transit IRAN . i have no idea about exit borders ect but THE man told me he has sent trucks through in recent years. Ive always felt Russia or North Africa would be a way round. happy trucking! Brenics77

Much worse I think, but the problem with the Israeli passports will still exist.

Aren’t we all so fickle, It is not so many years ago when the CIA were supporting Osama bin Laden encouraging him to fight against the Soviet Army and encouraging Saddam to take on Iran and the Brit Government have also supported them both when it suited them to do so.
Will the world a safer place without Bin Laden ……….I guess time will tell, but if we measure it all by Iraq, that was a much safer place when Saddam was in charge with his Iron fist.
This could open a debate

Correct Red and at the same time I remember seeing British trucks taking meat from the E.E.C. meat mountain over to Rumania which was then transhipped onto Russian trucks that would then take it down to Afghanistan to feed The Soviet troops .
The cost of this cheap meat to The Russians was so low that even the drivers couldn’t believe just how cheap it was .
Not a lot of people in the U.K. knew that at the time .
Regards Steve.
Steve…I think it is what is known as double standards …Who knows, when we have assisted in destroying Libya we can help them rebuild it……….All good for business and a strong pound eh…

Maybe the U.K. should give the Libyans four million pounds so that they will be their friends, just like they did with their friends in Pakistan.
We only help or interfere with the countries that have something we want END OF.Fancy chucking Binladens body in the sea im sure the yanks wont be impressed with that ,now is he dead maybe,
lets see the body, im not so sure, I think if a Muslem dies he has to be buried within 24 hrs ,but was he a true Muslem not as far as the Muslems I know tell me, not having read the Koran ,im sure it dosnt say get out there and kill inocent people ,Al Quida has been formed for 25 years its not going to end because he is maybe dead.lets see what happens over the next year or two.
Roger
chucking the body in the sea may prevent his burial place becoming a shrine.
We don’t go after Robert Mugabe or Charles Taylor do we?
We have to worry now about Osama’s grieving relatives, Where’s tha bin and Putit in bin
