Will it be in any bookshops for us to pick up - or do we get it sent to us? No doubt the publishers will oblige…

Sinbin…I think the lady that will be mentioned most in the book, will not be sheep lady but rather the “Nis Nasty” in collaboration with the drivers who parked in Nis……Better keep our heads down……like she did…

better give Ashley my address over here in Obamaland if anybody whose mentioned in the book gets a free copy as it’ll take a long time to turn up in Borders book shop, mind you I did find a two month old copy of F1 Racing telling me Jenson Button was world champion.

Hi Reddesertfox

What was wrong with the Nis Nasty fine lady ,a truckers friend ,to relieve the tension of the journey be it, up or down,or out or back,in her case it was which ever way you desired

Roger

ubym - I took fright as I thought you meant between £25 and £46… but I see it’s £25.46. That’s more like it.

I did find a Cola Cowboys - the original - advertised on an “Obamaland” site (as Chazzer puts it… ) at over £400 - needless to say I didnt make a note of the website. However, I’ll keep my copy along with 1st edition of Ashley’s

Hi all: I’m confused…Old Pond (my publisher) say the “official” launch date for the book is 26 June 2010 :frowning: Amazon quote 21 May…

Personally I want it out as soon as possible, same as everyone else!
I’ll check with publisher and report back asap.

Anyone reading this for the 1st time (hope not) who wants to pre-order a copy, please send a e mail to me; ashleycoghill@aol.com

Meantime; Here is the finalised book cover to whet your appetites. The book will be bit bigger than A4 and around 400 pages with 350 images, mostly colour. Publisher is estimating a price of around £29.95, but hopefully it will come down a little. Confirmation in due course as he is still working on the last chapters before it all goes off to the printers  Not long to wait now…Ash.

looking good ash cant wait to get my copy

Welcome Terry,
There are one or two of us on here that worked for Jeff Litwin AKA Simon International.
I was on there from '78 to '80 based at the Stoke yard, but got to know several lads from the Hackney yard as it was then.
