Update: So back in work today I was chatting to the gaffer and mentioned that my trucks now smells like a newly sterilised operating theatre and I’ll end up with crusty lungs through inhalation of dettol fumes. He told me they paid £175 for a firm to come in last Tuesday after Id gone home and “deep clean” the inside of the unit.
Now when I was scrubbing away I’d seen signs of it but just thought it was a not very good “home made” attempt at cleaning by whomever used it. But my gaffer is a no bullcrap kind of guy so I believe him. I’m actually reasonably impressed that they went that far
This is what will keep us safe so no more need to worry when you’re sat in the truckers enclosure pens at rdc.s.
(It also comes in bright green or orange for you lot who drive around in hi viz all ■■■■ day)

[zb] me rob you’ve put some timber on since the last picture you posted of yourself…
Aye but I’ll soon be losing it when they decide to shut all the pubs and restaurants, you’ll be seeing me with all the other saddos in a lay by, mirrors pulled in, eating my low calorie pot noodles.
Or maybe not eh?
I’m betraying a confidence here,… but it is in fact Maoster, he often sends me pics of himself in an array of bizzare ■■■■■■ based costumes.
I try to discourage him, but he values my opinions.
Starting from Monday 16th March all British citizens will be entitled to claim £100 a day if they have to self-quarantine and stay at home to avoid the spread of COVID-19 novel Coronavirus.

Let’s get this right £75 per ‘week’ UC, turns into £100 per ‘day’ to sit in the garden.Yeah right.Which immediately id’s you as a contagion ‘risk’ to be carted off to a ‘quarantine’ home where they’ll ‘palliate’ you and nick the house.I’ll stay with the £75 per week thanks.
It is absurd to think that the workshy already getting handouts for doing nowt - will get MORE under any Covid payout scheme?
Surely the obvious think to do here - is make such payments for “self-isolating” ONLY to those people who normally pay tax & NI. That’s it.
If you’re not paying either of those - then you are already on a raft of benefits, and do not need “further help” - Right?

If you’re not working you’re no longer paying tax and NI.Just the same as those who you’re insulting.Jobseekers obviously can’t ‘jobseek’ if they have to ‘self isolate’ too.IE at that point both being out of work for the same reason no reason for anyone to think that they are superior in that environment.
You do know the difference between income based benefits and contributions based.
