The UK was never ‘doing well’ and the lockdown has simply exposed the mess and near bankruptcy behind the gig-economy. We think it’s bad now, but it’s only just beginning.

:slight_smile: Don’t bother with the dudes newer stuff.Way too voluminous and mainly re-hashes of other stuff…‘see my other book,bla bla’. I bow to no one though in my respect for his indefatigable research over the years,i think he should get a pullitzer for his 9/11 expose especially .I think others,John Hamer in particular have ran with the journalistic ball far more eloquently lately in terms of a more…egoless and rounded flair of writing style, but Icke i suggest proved something of a catalyst in general.

He lives near me in Ryde and my sister proofed a couple of his earlier books and i have had the odd chats with him on occasion when out and about across the Isle Of Wight.Decent fella with a good family and a background of significant poverty and physical pain history, in his formative years.
