…Just had a call to tell me not starting now until the 6th now due to weather. Not too fussed as that’s the day when the quarry firms, builders etc go back. Strangely though I’m a bit put out as I was looking forward to it. Getting worried now people…

Well chuffin marvellous! Been given a call today if I’d mind driving an older wagon for a few days because they’ve decided to have what will be my wagon resprayed and signwritten. And they’ve had the cheek to mend my cb which I thought was broken, fit my Canadian plate on the grille, nameplate in the windscreen and hang my new Oxfordshire flag in the cab. What next? Hanging frilly curtains and dreamcatchers??
