Your observations could be correct Dennis,a lot of the problems are that once a thread is opened it quickly gets turned into another one,look at the postings on this one and see.

Hiya Alex, same here with me mate every day is a bonus now but there’s a lot worse off than me,anyway it’s good to have a bit crack and banter with lads like you and Dave who know what the job was all about in years past.Trouble is our ranks are thinning out a bit now,I attended the funeral of my old pal Eric off the Brady Octopus/trailer a couple of months ago,we’d being pals for almost 50 years and he sure taught me a lot in my formative years.Anyway look after yerse’l Alex and All the best Dennis.

Hi my real name is Gary, and I agree totally with what you have said and I loved some of the discussions on this forum especially between Dennis and CF
I do visit everyday and still comment as you can see but sometimes I look at some of the topics and the things that people are saying and think…no way am I getting involved in that.
But as I said I still poke my nose in and love the craic and banter even if it’s from the sidelines, no tin hat required that way

I happen to mention to a passing soul that I post on TNUK. He says he does too and, after a bit of discourse, I’m certain beyond doubt: it’s him, and I cannot get away. As fast as I run, the bstd is in my ear, shouting the odds about how the good stuff is bad and vice versa.

Cheers Dennis, I’ve followed your own Bewick Transport thread from the start and think it’s great, and that’s the type of thing I enjoy reading on here. Not the constant bickering and keyboard punching that often happens.
