Ah yes +2. Although in their defence in Oxford City, one minute the cycle lane is part of the road, then there’s the green “squash lane” then the cycle lane goes back on the path then disappears altogether. I noticed yesterday that if you follow the cycle lane exactly, you ride an erratic course where you appear and disappear in passing traffics’ mirrors.
That’s the case with a lot of the ones in London too and it’s often safer just to cycle in the road.
