Just in case anyone is waiting for this to come back in stock

aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/t … coolbox-2/
Had one of these for over a year now. It gets turned on Mondays and off on Friday/Saturday and have never had an ounce of bother with it. It cools to 18 degrees below ambient and is ideal for what I use it for.
Brilliant box.
Used it in the boot of the car intermittently whilst camping at Silverstone last year. Always had cool beer.
Best cooler on the market for the money, why anybody would want to spend 100s when you can get one of these is beyond me. Had mine 4 years now and it
s been spot on.
this might be handy pointed at the diesel tank aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/s … t-page-53/

Why,not much wildlife happening by my diesel tank!!
I bought my aldi coolbox about three or four years ago, & still working well
For those who have one - can these be left on overnight ok without draining battery? I finish normally at around 4-5pm and don’t get back in till 6.30, would I be able to leave on. I’d switch off at weekend.
I only run mine for about seven -nine hours, & unplug it as it’s really cold , so I don’t need to leave it on ‘around the clock’ .
fitted a halfords version 12v 14ltr into a van and the driver has not had any problems. he leaves it plugged in overnight and has not had a flat battery. i would think that it draws about 3a at 12v so i would doubt it flatten a set of truck batterys.
Going to get one and see how goes if left on. At least got a jump starter pack in warehouse just in case !
Mine is plugged in the car on Monday on the way to work then into the cab until getting back on Friday. Leave it plugged in to 12v all week and it’s fine. Mine only stops when I am using the tail lift for a long period.

Aldi one is 30 litres.
Had one of these a few years ago lasted ages but constant use Monday to Friday running eventually burnt out the motor, got a cheapie off eBay which is still going strong after 2 years
Aren’t these made by Waeco just sold under a different name?
In my book, if it lasts just under the 3 year warranty, you’ve done well. If it breaks down, get it repaired /replaced. Keep your receipt safe though.

Been using an ALDI one for the last 6 years or so with no problem. Still going strong.

Dem ole Germans huh?
Mines an aldi one, and runs continually from Monday morning to Friday/Saturday with no problems. Every few months I pop the lid apart and clean out any dust when it starts to get noisy, then its good to go again.
