I honestly thought this one had been sorted out years ago. I think it stemmed back to the days when certain indivudals thought they could beat the system by claiming they were a self employed doing regular work for a single supplier (i.e. one agency). The genuine way around it was, and still will be, to work directly for hauliers (plural) as a spot hire self employed driver.

Those agency bods who are PAYE emplyed have nothin to worry about this.
