Advice over a job in italy

Hi Leon, sometimes things might seem totally disorganised but eventually everything comes together  and works out. Youv’e got this far and by next Monday you could be getting the job sorted in Italy.
Don’t let these little initial hiccups hold you back just have that backup plan ready to fall back on

Good luck to you M8

… and just wait till you find out about the Saints days which the Itailian staff will get but the Brit staff may not., the Itailain red tape, the strikes (even the Police go on strike, it held up my work documents for 3 weeks) and the seista half of the time Italy is closed.
But in the end Italy is a great place to work so if you do ever get there have a great time

A truck n ot being ready is a way of life in the haulage industry . dont let it worry you. If it dont feel right when you get there come home . simple . you’ll be fine .

Still doesn`t sound very cosher to me Name of Patrick & a mobile phone No
Ask him to send you the return air fare :unamused:

Read the guys signature then try and be funny will you

Read an understood. Dyslexia… 21st century excuse for lazy grammar :unamused:

I think that’s a bit harsh!!!

The guy obviously isn’t lazy, otherwise he wouldn’t be on here asking about travelling thousands of miles over Europe to look for work now, would he?

If he ws jst usin Txt spk thn i wd say he ws lazy!

If i was single and inexperienced i would jump at the chance, worst that could happen is that he looses his air fair!?

At the end of the day you will wind out after a week or so!

GO FOR IT!

…Plant & Machinery repairs. Likely type of business for an Irish man.

    PMSL!!!

Bet that one gets a bite!!!

I thought somebody might pick up on that. The remark was not intended to be disparaging.

It’s a fact, to be sure, to be sure.

Patrick is more into the export of plant and tippers to the middle east, and the ‘odd’ drive here and there. I’m sure I passed Patrick’s house to day south on the M5 at Worcester…
I too rang for the job in Italy, just to sound it out.£100 a day cash in your hand delivering sand and gravel, he never asked for experience or what tickets I had . Just a “have you now a passport” and " can you meet me Monday" no problem Patrick ,I said .
Good luck leon I truly hope I have judged him wrong…

i can sea the job sounds as dodjey as but the way i see it. If the giy is wiling to give me, a new pass some expereance and pay me for it its worth a shot. Spent a fortnight looking for work in theuk and if this onley lasts a few months then atleast when im looking for work and am asked about expereance i can say. Yes a little. That must be worth sum thing?
