a assement made so that the Doctors who know best,can take the right
desicion on what type of treatment and where to send Johnny ,i

I have seen threads about an accident in Madrid, but as I work away, I have never seen a story about it. I have seen stories asking for cd’s to use as speed detectors, I have seen stories about fluffin and stories about Fieldings in about 27 different postings but I am still no wiser

1st, BULLIT, I think its a shame that people say things without the looking first, I think if you could count, or read all the threads, posts before commiting to text, you will find that there is only 5 THREADS 
This was only done to Highlight the plight in which a fellow TruckDriver and the Family was in and to enlighten what has happened to many of the drivers who have had the Fortune to have met such a genuine bloke, not some “Billy Big Wheels Tyre Kicker” who can talk a load of and sits there giving it the i’ve been there done it b…ks (zipit?) he , Johnny “G” Edmonds, was , is everyones mate, who would not leave you in it Its also a shame people think its a SCAM… well the Passes for any one of the next European F1/GP2 races have been paid for in full and an extra £100 to John & his family, all proceeds have gone to Johnny, the guy who bought the passes is comming out to the German GP AT Hockenhiem, and will have a fantastic time, at my exspense, but thats my way of helping a mate in need 
All the details to send anything to John have gone through another mate of Johnnys, Darren Jackson, I posted his company web site, so everbody could see nothing was hidden away behind some “moody” name, also John has done show work for Darren, and therefore Darren has his Banking Details, is based closer to Johns home town / hospital / Family ( Son / Daughter ) and has Maxine running the office, so someone is there to accept Donations and in a better position than I am, as I am based in Norwich, and obviously away a fair bit with my job.

when he visted him, I went to see Johnny yesterday, yesat the Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield, the reason he is still here is due to a “BUG” which has closed one of the wards at Stoke Mandiville, and as John has to also have 3 clear swabs test before he can be moved, this is a terrible strain on all concerned Myself and my wife sat with John for about 4hrs, only leaving for halfan hr so they could put John in bed, clean him up and ■■■■ out the Flem form his chest & throat, as he cannot even cough on his own, we arrived just as his mother of about 82 was just leaving, they had not seen each other for about 6 weeks, this accident happend around 4 wks ago, so it was pretty upsetting for all, especially when John had just moved his mum from London to be near him & Carol so they could look after her, when John gave up his Truck, now its John who needs constant help, well we talked about the laughs we had together, the Beers we drank from the back of the trls, after a get in / out in some far flung country, Jokes one min then struggling with the emotions next, when he told you things about the Dream Cottage he would now have to sell, that was hard Thats why I feel that comments from likes of “BULLITT” are a bit hard to swallow I would expect you are the type of person who would sit there and watch the crap on TV like Big Brother & XFactor, ring in with a vote and spend 35p a time on nothing 
As for “WHEELNUT” Cant you be bothered to read all threads or posts before engaging your brain… The “SPEED DETECTOR DISC’s” was a ■■■■ take of the nobs who stick them in the windscreens and “think” they will “DEFLECT” the laser as for the FLUFFING thing that was just to keep the Thread in your Face, so to speak so any of Johnnys mates whomay well be away on tour, or wherever, would see it. Oh and the adding up thing that 2 of you cant do very well

Davo oDonnel, I dont have an internet connection in my truck, The only reason I saw these posts is because I was on Holiday.
I have other things to do also. But if someone was in need of assistance a straightforward post would have sufficed, saying Help Wanted.
On another Forum we use a lad was seriously injured in an accident and within a week donations to the family had reached over £3000. From that there has been a fighting fund set up to help others, but the posts were clear and concise and kept in one place.
This chap was not very well known to many but it doesnt stop them helping his wife and children in their hour of need.

What’s the up date Dave?
The latest is that John has finally been moved to Stoke Mandeville having at last got over the MRSA that was keeping him at Chase Farm.
Physically, there is really no change although he has slight movement in his right hand and can talk & breath un-aidded.
He has been overwhelmed by the messages of support & good will that have been sent with along with many of the donations he has recieved, so much so, that he said to me a few weeks ago that he ‘owes it to everybody to get better’
I shall be going to see him a little later today to see how he is settling in at Stoke.
The latest news on Johnny Edmonds is that Stoke Mandeville (SM) have re-started his treatment from scratch. They have discovered that he also has a broken arm (He has already had a full body scan, this should have been spotted before).
We all hope SM can do their best for him. We know he is facing a long, uphill struggle, but we are all in his corner.
Incidentally, it was John’s 60th birthday last sunday. Words cannot describe how I feel. I was weekended with him just a week before the accident. I am just gutted about the whole thing.
