If you’re lucky enough never to have been in very deep ■■■■ , then you’ve no idea of the despair this sort of incident causes.
Just a spot of support makes a big difference, believe me.

I have not heard any news today, only that the flight took off at around 13.00hrs, will post news when I get it, again thank you for the generousity & care shown to a fellow Truck Driver…Dave
You have a PM
Dave, I have sent you a PM.
Johnny G is back in good old England - he arrived by air ambulance last night. He has a private room in his local hospital and they hope to start physiotherapy next week - everything crossed!
We have had a couple of items arrive for John - I am amazed at the support that is being shown and humbled to know such a man - here’s to you Johnny G!
Thank you to everyone who has given or shown support, even a note to Johnny would boost his spirits, had some news today that some Owner Drivers , Subbies for EST , just came back off Bon Jovi and collected £1000 approx from their Follow Spot wedge, well done lads, and thank you for showing Johnny how it works…
Just doing what footballers do a bit of “Keepy Uppy”
with this thread that is
sorry but dont want it down the bottom not getting seen
Dave O`Donnell:

Hope this helps…
Thanks to Lovely Person, Shade & Harry for your support and advice, Johnny is back in UK now, in Hospital in Enfield, will keep an eye on progress, oh and doing bit of FLUFFING ?
Nice one Shade, problem is I go testing on saturday for a couple of days at Paul Ricard, only GP2 Teams, but will make enquires, trouble is only 4 teams are British, next meet with F1 12 July so will see

another day to feel honoured to know Johnny G Edmonds… get better soon Johnny
Hi, just joined trucknet so i could past our deepest symphony to johnny’s (MOULDERS) family!! He is a great man and and legend. All the best for his recovery… All at Fielding’s
**Dave ODonnell** It doesn
t like you posting two replies too quickly. Yiou have to wait a little then bash the keyboard again.
Well, I am on here to say a BIG THANK YOU, to all of you out there who has shown Johnny & his family the kind support and generousity you have all kindly given, and are thrilled with the response, as I am. Again Thank You.
I personally was overwhelmed by the support from poeple who did not even know him, amazing, not just Johnny but all of you who have helped.
Unfortunaly for Johnny, its not over, by a long way…
the injuries Johnny has sustained are very bad
His Spinal Cord has been severed…
Its long slog for all concerned, but with therapy he may regain use of his arms, lets pray this is possible , Johnny will get moved to Stoke Mandaville next week, so if you have anymore support or know of anyone who could even send on some old trucking / westerns / comedy dvds to Johnny Edmonds, this could at least ease the boredom, I will be going to see Johnny myself when I get back from my Testing in Ricard , and will take a dvd player with me, it is multi region, so will play anything, also may I thank John Vassy’s father Ken, who has donated a pallet of books, which will be going to Stoke Mandiville ( Darrens Idea )as well, so everyone can benifit from this generous gift. As an old saying " WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND " Thanks Ken, John, and those who donated to The Vassy Plight.
Dodgy Dave O’Donnell… ps. The auction for the GP2 Passes ended early as I was made an offer which was accepted, and an extra bit on top for the cause, Thank you Paul…
, I will post this as a new topic so it reaches more poeple who have made a difference… Thanks Again
Thanks Dean, and everyone else for their donations and support, off to Enfield now to see the OLD MUCKER JOHNNY…
I thought he was in Stoke Mandeville…?
