Did anyone see the crash on the A90 today between 3 lorrys
I think it was 3 as one you couldn’t make out the cab for the rear of the one in front

How the hell did The fishers driver survive that without life threatening injuries ■■ Just as well he works for a laundry company as I think he will be looking for some clean undercrackers !

■■■■ knows ? I had a shudder go down my spine when I passed it
Looks like 3663 had pulled in suddenly and fishers had no where to go and shunted 3663 in to B&M

I drove that road on Tuesday, a very sad sight.

More like a layby strike.

Fortunately I was 2 hours ahead of that!

Bad one on A92 too;

Pulled in where too soon ?

The only driver at fault can be the Fishers driver, its happened in a layby and he.s at the back

If B&M overtaking and cut the nose off Fishers then he’d be to blame. He’s stopped in front but must be involved so you can’t say Fisher can only be one to blame!
As 3663 In layby let’s say he’s innocent.

Yep if you look at 3663 the cab is smashed at front so was probably pushed in to the back of parked B&M truck
Plus B&M was probably moved forward by recuse team to check other Lorry

Fekme, ur right. Didn’t spot that on phone. Unusually for TN I’ll admit I’m wrong.
Report says “superficial damage”, hmmm!

One of the reasons firms are fitting dashcams filming foward and on the driver.

We’ll have that Bidvest (3663) motor back on the road by Monday morning! Seriously though the other one is a lucky chap

Too right, it’s probably at Jock Borthwick’s having a new (old) cab put on it! They’ll be short of a sleeper cabbed truck without it; the gearbox on mine packed in in December and apparently there are no spare sleeper rigids in the whole company so we’ve been one done since.
In fact, if they swap parts around I’m sure Jock’s can make one working truck out of the two of them! [emoji1]

I’d say the only sleeper rigids down here will be at Banbury depot now, which is logistics. Hoddesdon might have some, not sure. Not sure how many Jock has got up there but he’d probably be able to knock up a semi new fleet…think he’s got a site near Northampton as well

one for all you ’ pedal to the metal drivers’ I bet one of the first things they check is the speed.

More like a layby strike.

I used to drive this road regular ,something that has always bothered me was the southbound , a90 at brechin. after stracathro,
there is the 1 mile slip road to brechin,’ second one’, there is a layby yards before the junction, and this can be confused with the sliproad, a driver was killed there a few years ago cos they ran into a stationary truck. in the layby , my csi. is they were behind another vehicle , and thought the layby was the sliproad , rip that driver.
