It was a Wilko wagon and trailer ,after delivering to a store they sometimes leave the empties at the store and pick a backhaul up on the way back to the DC.

On a serious note, why do people start dredging threads up at this time of year? Some are genuinely googling stuff and finding old relevant threads, but the majority are done by some window licker keen to see different threads on page one.
it seems there was a tragic accident on the A57 near worksop this morning at around 4am. the alledged circumstances of the accident was that 2 wilkinsons trucks where returning back to the depot. when at some point between the M1 and the scene of the crash the car driver had been deliberately playing tag (road rage) with the 1st truck, accellerating, harsh braking, and cutting the 1st truck up along the bypass.
however truck 2 (carrying 18 pallets of bleach) made an attempt to safely pass the scene/scenario which the 1st truck was involved in, however it seems the car driver took his grevance out on truck 2 at some point later, while it was manuvering around the roundabout causing the truck, while it was turning around the roundabout to clip the exit curb causing the truck to roll over onto the car/people carrier killing the driver.
the road was closed up to around 4pm this afternoon, atm it is unsure why the car driver was raging at the truck(s), but I saw the remains of the scania as they towed it into the yard this afternoon, and it isn`t pretty

Dodgy road ,that. The last time I used it was with a Scania pulling 44t. A car driver on a roundabout put on hhis left hand blinker to exit on the road before my entrance. I gunned up to to get going & he carried on round & was heading for my drive-side door. I anchored up & everything ( It was somebody elses truck ) came thundering on to the dash etc. I caught him up at the next lights & reminded him zip/zip . The thing is he was a driving instructor in an L’ car. Bit of rain & def. jacknife. : twisted: Since then I have avoided it & go on the M18…
forgot the name of who the driver was, but it was deffo one of wilkos wagons, most likely canutes, I saw it when i returned for my 2nd run, looks like the N/S/F corner of the unit was crunched, and had taken most of the impact the trailer looked messy too.
but judging by the gossip around the yard, the car driver had a grevance with 1 of the wilko trucks, and was being a [zb], resulting in him loosing his life because of his actions. if the car was a people carrier as I understand, theres prolly now some kids missing a dad
talk about bad a karma day, I missed my junction on the M1 due to a car and had to take alternative route, then I missed the pin picking my trailer up for the 2nd run, as I thought it had locked and moved the slider, but hadn`t, which took me 10-15 mins longer to sort it out

If that was indeed the cause of this crash then i sincerley hope that the whole story is publisised as much as possible. i’ve had these muppets that think it’s great fun to pull in front and slam the anchors on just because youve dared to overtake anthe truck, delaying the car drivers obviously more important journey by a few seconds.
its bloody dangerous, and again if this is the reason in this case then the inevitable has happened. please please please can someone make sure that the great unwashed get to here about this?
