Hi Jack, sorry for not been on for a while, bad time of the year for me ,work takes up most of my time :frowning: doing the worst sparky jobs and helping the fitters over the phone, maybe some of these Bradford lads may reply, you an les are doing a good job of trying to get the lads together, keith

Not to worry Keith, work has to come first even if it’s helping fitters over the phone, but Les and a couple of us keep trying and keep it alive.
I just had a smashing time with Dave Smith and Billy Parkinson, they came up for a visit had a good laugh a good old natter just like we do at the reunions, it made my Birthday worth the while after yesterday, and I can tell you nothing has changed them both, still the same fun and a joy to be with just like it was at work, but supping tea instead of beer, so it has made me realize that the sooner we get another reunion on the cards the better even if we do talk rubbish and spill diesel all over the floor, it’s what keeps us together. Best Regards :-Jack

Hi Jack, happy birthday, remember the first reunion when Volvo give us some free gifts, there was one man mountan shirt, looked round the pub to see who was the biggest guy to give it to,yes Dave Smith    keith

Hi All, tried to get the Bradford drivers interested, put posts on Bradford Hauliers, Wool Haulage and Ashworth’s, no feed back at all, ,looks like its just going to be A One, I realise not everybody is on TN but its just dead, if there is any positive feedback I will keep an eye on this thread, I was looking forward to a trip down to my old roots, and mates, maybe the smell of diesel on the pub floor puts them off, it never used to, we couldn’t get enough, its a shame there is no interest in this, we were all so close.
Regards Les.

Good afternoon men, flicking the TV channels last night and came across Shipping Wars on 4 Seven channel.seemingly so much stuff is sold on the Net that a new industry has sprung up delivering the goods that have been sold. The way it works is that you obtain the haulage work by entering an auction on line. There are quite a few people taking part and prices are cut to the bone by chancers who have no idea how to price a job and often lose money on it. So if you want a laugh= Shipping Wars on 4 seven channel tuesday at 7 pm !!!

hiya ,have a look at Shipley freight its the same kind of thing but theres thousands & thousands of items on auction delivery in the uk & Europe.itll make your eyes water at some of the prices things are getting delivered for,the cowboys are everywhere    royhebb ex owner driver,AND ex onward driver from tears ago

Yes Kieth , I remember the shirt, I also remember the jacket I had my eye on it but Billy took it before I got the chance, but that was the idea to give it to the lads so it was OK. Regards :-Jack

Hi Les, thanks for trying, it takes time to get the word around I know this from experience that’s why I gave it a miss last year because I thought it best because there was very little response and thought it best to give it a year and try again, it don’t really matter to me which firm it is as long as there from our area so there’s a better chance of knowing who they are when we meet, so just keep trying and I’ll do my best on the phone too by phoning all the numbers I have in my list of drivers.
