The A1 around the Catterick area has been closed after an explosion at around 0300hrs this morning. There are no reports of injuries as of now.
Did a JCB strike a UXB in the upgrade?
Never considered that. Entirely feasable though.
More likely one of the squaddies has come home ■■■■■■ from a club and set something off from his collection of souveniers
someone has got a box of flash bangs and lite the feking lot lol been and done with a belly full of beer many years ago
More than likely my lads based up at Leeming so i know exactly what they get up to
still closed and they aint found anything yet lol
I smell zombie cover up.
^^^more like an effingg big flare.
as they haven’t found explosion site yet was it a super single letting go
Have you heard the noise a lorry tyre makes when it blows, ( heard near the A1) just a thought.

yes many times (just a thought) 3am no sign of explosion late in afternoon you would have thought they would ave found the reason by now whatever it was
They had exactly the same thing in Manchester ( Salford ), hundreds were reported too have a heard a large explosion but the last I heard they couldn’t find anything ,think it was a few days ago,do a search and you’ll find it
If there were tyre remains or a trucker stopped with a blow out in the vicinity i’m sure the Police would have put two and two together
Could of been a Army lorry blown a tyre or air bag in their yard !
Oh Come on, this one is clearly linked to the recent big bang in Manchester, and its not difficult to work out this is an alien invasion and they are trying to cover it up…
B…
So a major route like this can be closed all day just because eight people reported hearing an explosion?
How much has all this cost the taxpayer and the UK economy?
There’s more to this story than what we’re being told…
I went thought at 04.30 just has the roadworks opened up. No different at all. Was supprized when heard on the radio.
whatever it was it was probably caused by flip flop wearing agency driver working for stobart pulling a Tesco trailer following his sat navs
