It wouldn’t be me mate, I wouldn’t dare park my wagon on that bit of road :open_mouth: And hence why upgrade was in quotes :grimacing:

And Seth, I’m just sharing my experiences not one that would suit many but a job id say is a good number. Some of the drops I’ve been too are a right pain in the arse but that’s what makes it fun as it gives you a challenge and a complementary brew at most shops :sunglasses:

The ‘advertising’ usually comes from any driver who likes his job. Some it suits, some it doesn’t. Id say out of all the crap jobs ive had over the years id like to think I’ve landed lucky with this one. Only time will tell though :sunglasses:

Cheers

Couple of bob more then!
Can’t be that good or you wouldn’t have left…

I left for similar money, but A better job for me

Not driving then?
Stacking shelves in local supermarket?
More money and less hours!

No still driving, just closer to hone, smaller company

So what’s the pay rates at Mcdowells?
I’d ring them and ask but I don’t like been insulted.

You are coming across as proper [zb] jack knife. If the lad wants to work for them then let him. Stop badgering people for what they earn , be concerned with your own money and no one else’s.

I am says the town fan.
Who tells us he earns more for driving a white van Badly!
I was only enquiring about the rates from someone who recently worked there.
Might want a job myself if the rates have improved?

How’s life in the LF Johnny?

I quite like mine. Usually running pretty light but the 180 horses are just enough to keep me moving when fully loaded. Mine is an auto which is a pain till you get used to it. Even then it’s far too slow to drop a gear. Day cab could be a few inches bigger though it’s comfy enough.

Then why not pick up the phone and ask Mcdowells instead of trying to ■■■■ all over the chips of a new driver whose enjoying what he’s doing?

Does your auto box have a manual override? All the autos I’ve driven have.
