There are pockets of christianity that act in a similar way to the behavior reported in RR’s link. The only difference being, so far, no christian/western government* has adopted it YET.

With that sin,God’s justice demands that you are punished for it.Just like a judge in a court of law must punish the criminal.
All these other religions you mention have the idea that if you do wrong,then you do some good works to make up for it.The problem with that approach,your sin is so bad that there aren’t enough good works left in the world to make up for it.
This is why Jesus said,take the narrow path.There is no other way to Heaven except through Jesus Christ

People die ,but my calculation,I was more thinking,how long does it take for the population to double.The world population was 4 billion in 1970.It was 2 billion in 1940.if its doubling every 35 years,why has it took so long to get to 8 billion?
