You do realise that the bible was merely an oral history until well over a hundred years after Jesus’ death? How accurate do yo think that would be?

You’re asking the wrong questions concerning the wrong problem which obviously gives the wrong answer and explanation/solution.
The origin of the DNA and the cellular structures it creates up to human beings is the question.Followed by the question why it exists what is the purpose behind it all.

Exactly which part of Catholicism do you ‘detest’ ?.
Bearing in mind that I’m indirectly the product of a mixed Catholic and CofE marriage and directly of a Christian and professed Atheist if not Agnostic marriage.
I was never subjected to any type of religious ‘encouragement’ at home other than at school.
I recently changed my own view from Agnostic to outright belief based on the science and logical deduction.
I couldn’t care less if that belief turns out to have been misplaced.
While with that back ground I obviously learn’t that there is no rule in Christianity which says that Catholicism v Protestantism is and has to be a binary choice.My Mum rejected the complication of the Catholic system generally going with the CofE.
While I chose to reject specifically the (basis) of the CofE on the grounds of its origin and attitudes to sanctity of marriage and life.
IE Henry V111 set himself up as head of his own church for his own personal gratification and murdered those who dared to oppose him.While I also believe that life begins at conception.
I or anyone I know have never even been asked, let alone turned away from any Christian church during visits or services, regarding beliefs, or non beliefs, in that regard including my Christian/at best Agnostic parents’ church wedding.
Also bearing in mind family connections with one of the churches which formed the relatively recent Catholic and CofE joint cooperative church group which included my parents’ marriage.

Ok, if you go for the obvious incestual option, then where do all the different coloured people come from. Not to mention the resulting birth defects. Unless those are another punishment from god, to punish the children of sinful parents (see what I did there?)
Oh, as for your maths. You forget that not only do people get born, they also die. So you’re calculation is a bit out. I forget, but somebody some time ago calculated roughly how many people might have been born in total, and the number is much, much higher than 8billion. Carry fast will Google it for us, I’m sure.

Yep, but my point was all this trouble, war , atrocity and inhumanity is mostly done either in the name of religion, or religion is involved somewhere along the line.
The world would be a much better, ( not to mention safer) place, without what is essentially and basically at best a primitive superstition,…and at worst a complete load of old ■■■■■■■■.
