robroy:
what you have just described was what went on in 30s and 40s Germany.
Naziism…The same principle, and same techniques and methods used as any religion,… playing on peoples fears and insecurities, promises, giving them hope,.(usually false) radicalisation, instilling preposterous notions and theories into people by brainwash, (or in their case expert propaganda) and before you know it the knock on effect is people actually go on to repeat it all however ridiculous, but completely believing it all…Exactly the same concept , and utterly dangerous to society.
So you’re saying that North Korea’s atheist based constitution, like Marxist ideology in general, is and has historically been a force for good in the world ?.
Relatively better than that of Christian based Brit and US ideology in defending the interests of the free world against that atheist based aggression ?.
Also Hitler never went to war in the name of Christianity.Just like his ideologically atheist Soviet allies in the invasion of Poland.
Am I ■■?
Wrong…
What I actually am saying (in the real world and not Carryfastworld) is that all religions or even pseudo type religions,.(which what Naziism was, in real terms essentially, or at least turned into in Germany at the time) are at best the root and cause of evil,.and at worst totally evil.
Check your BFF google for wars based on religion for starters.

To which my reply was Atheist North Korea and Marxist ideology in general ain’t exactly a great advert for your team.
As opposed to numerous examples showing soldiers on the allied side in WW2 praying for their deliverance and that of the free world.
Bearing in mind the US mission statement one nation under God.
Also haven’t seen any evidence of the church holding services for the success of the Nazis and their Muslim allies.
So here we are now possibly facing WW3 on the side of the Jews.Against an alliance of Islam and atheism and a few others.
Good luck with the idea that supporting the North Korean atheist team is the solution to that. While if and when the time comes and the believers are wrong about an afterlife who cares none of us will know anything about it whether atheist or not.
Well CF you can still surprise! Like I say the whole world is one massive conspiracy to you, except the one thing that so obviously is. Good grief Another glimpse in to the burning wreckage that is your brain
Edit - actually no I’ve thought about this some more. He believes all the conspiracies based on incredibly little if any actual evidence so actually yup, religion is the natural extension to that. Confusion clarified. Praise be the sky fairy.
I won’t bother arguing any of your points, as you have obviously given up replying to me. Wether that is fear, or boredom, only you know.
But rest assured. If you are right after all, we will meet on the day of reckoning. And I’m looking forward to it. For I choose the path of self responsibility and fairness, not submission and fear.
_\m/.
Im sorry you feel I was ignoring your question but I dont know what your question was.
It certainly isnt through fear or boredom!
Ok,you are choosing the path of self responsibilty?
Right, have you only ever told nothing but the truth?
Proverbs 12:22
ESV
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

Romans 3:23
New International Version
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Revelation 21:27
New International Version
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Right,so now we’ve established that God demands perfection for entrance into Heaven.Anything less than perfection just wont be enough.
So what’s your plan to get through the pearly gates?

You think Jesus existed but was just another ordinary person?
Have you ever looked how his disciples died? christianity.com/church/chu … 29558.html
Do you think they would be martyrs if they hadnt witnessed his miracles?
That would be enough to stand in a court of law by today’s standards
Aye in your screwed up head only.
So you chose to ignore my more credible theory of the ‘resurrection’ then,. (the unsuccessful execution ) …ok.
If what I say is true it may as well be 5000, the number is totally irrelevant, the 500 were as gullible as you…
So the Apostles ‘died for their faith’ as martyrs …so what ?
It proves absolutely nothing.
I’m sure if David Blaine or Dynamo lived in primitive times when gullible people took things at face value without question, they also could gather up a few followers and sychophantic ‘hangers on’.
I suppose I did ignore it to be honest. If Jesus had survived the crucifixion,it throws out the whole purpose of His return to earth. There would be no sacrifice for sin. There are lots of alternative theories.I can’t investigate them all.I remember when we were preaching in the street,a woman came up to me and said that she believed Jesus died for sinners but that some sins are too bad to be forgiven.First time I ever heard that .

My belief ain’t based on any ‘plan’ to get to heaven. Its based on the fact that I don’t have the slightest clue as to the setting of God’s bar in that regard.
I’d hope that it might go along the lines of Atheists souls are just switched off by default and their own choice.
Those who don’t make the grade are sent back into the Atheist line.
Those judged as really evil nasty zb’s are put in the line for Hell regardless of their stated religion or whether they are atheist or not.Hopefully swindling the hours record on a log book doesn’t count the same as Adolf Hitler’s and Jo Stalin’s hopeful judgement among others in that regard.
Having said that mortal judges usually stated may God have mercy on your soul when passing the death sentence.
Which suggests that the bar for Hell is set differently and at a severe level, to the bars for just being switched off with the Atheists, or being directed through the pearly gates.Bearing in mind that Courts and Judges are always ultimately appointed by HM who is reasonably high in the Church.
As for the literal meaning of Revelations who knows my view is like most/all of the Bible it’s a parable not literal account.
I’m not aware of Jesus ever having been represented anywhere as having uttered that definition of the bar to Heaven ?.By implication it would obviously also have to apply in the mortal world to the congregation at the Church gates every Sunday at least.
As for me as stated it’s God’s call there’s nothing I can do about it.But I certainly think that trying to second guess God’s judgement and bars let alone influence them won’t end well just as my belief in God ain’t based on any fear of Death.Or giving a toss if it turns out to have been misplaced/wrong when my time comes.
I must highlight the salient holes in Sploom’s fantasy and ask the questions that even his mufti can’t answer, my questions conveniently get brushed aside.

I must highlight the salient holes in Sploom’s fantasy and ask the questions that even his mufti can’t answer, my questions conveniently get brushed aside.
They simply explain the ridiculous by claiming “divine intervention”, also known as Hocus-pocus, or a fertile imagination.
One of my favourite questions to ask them, is "how does the resurrection and eternal life"work? In what state do we get resurrected? As we were when we died? 80, dying of cancer or Alzheimer’s, riddled with arthritis? Or as we were in the prime of our life? 41, happily married, healthy, children. Or as the shagging teenager we once were?
What makes that fall apart, is how that tallies up with being “reunited with your loved ones in the afterlife”… Will I meet my parents as they were when they died, or as they were when I grew up, or will I meet a stranger, who was having ■■■ with the woman who was going to give birth to me?
And what about parents, who’s child died young? Will the child be resurrected as a baby, or toddler? Will the parents be resurrected as they died, and at 90, and with Alzheimer’s, have a toddler shoved in their arms, “for ever”…?
I haven’t even started on the Yehovas , who get very uncomfortable when I ask them how I should treat people who would have let me bleed to dead when I had an accident years ago.
Stand by for the gullible fool to tell us that it’s “god’s mysterious way” and not “up to us to question”…

To be fair to Sploom how do you conflate resurrection obviously in spirit/consciousness form with reincarnation in mortal form.
Obviously the resurrection of Jesus being that of simultaneously God in both his mortal and spiritual/conscious forms, unlike humans, would have included both those forms of Gods entity returning not just the soul.
When we hear of documented out of body experiences that obviously doesn’t mean a new reincarnated mortal body was seen walking across the ER room ceiling.
It possibly was the soul/consciousness preparing for its journey to the afterlife.

I would have a lot to say about your points but I wont reply if you are going to insult me
Really? You need to HTFU, a teaspoon of cement on your Co Co Pops should help.
I’m sure I’m not alone in finding your attempts to convert me into believing the magic and fairly tales you spew forth, is an insult to my intelligence.
