Has anyone been blocked in by something and given the offending vehicle a friendly nudge? Quite common on building sites where lazy tradesmen (particularly plasterers and sparkies) can’t be arsed with the “no parking onsite” rule, to get their wingmirrors knocked off.
I’ve scratched the paintjobs of vans with the tailgate lever when the van’s been left in a stupid place and I admit to peppering a few vans with stones where the workmen have lost their memory as to which one of them has the van keys. Simple to do, tip very quick on tarmac and watch the shingle bounce.
Never hit anything on purpose but I did bury the site foreman’s chair.

Been to a few nice places in Belfast and Londonderry, and being V.C told pig driver to bust through blocked roads vehicles and such like! Makes a load bang!
Saxons are pretty noisey too! Paddys don’t like their wing mirrors and paint jobs scratching though!
DRIVERS!
Being the owner of a battered old Land Rover I have no issues with ‘nudging’, that is to say most people wouldn’t park their shineys within a mile of my wreck
So why is it, at 3am in the supermarket car park for 500 cars that’s EMPTY, the morons insist on parking either hard up against the drivers door or right up the rear with a swinging door that has to open outwards?
I take no pride in the fact that quite a few of these nocturnal numpties have a sizeable reminder to not park so close when the car park is empty.
My dad once dumped 21t of stone up the side of a Transit van when they were pee’ing him around “We want it here, no there… No there” so it got dumped where the wagon was sat.
Nearest I’ve got was pulling up to a delivery and a brand new BMW pulled in right behind me, didn’t seem interested when I asked so I opened the tailgate and held it just above his bonnet, he soon moved.
Also once got as far as trying the tow rope to someones car who’d blocked mine in, we work in a shared industrial yard. I’d had a long night and couldn’t be assed, so I tied the rope to the transit and was just attaching it to the towing eye on the car.
When working in Southampton container port back in the '90’s driving the straddle carriers,I took a truck for a ride from the transfer area to the quay cos the driver didn’t undo the twist locks!
Luckily it was tail first otherwise the cab would’ve been mangled!
Not my fault as the driver was non-compliant! Needed a new set of tyres for his truck though
The straddles lifted 50tonnes so a unit and skelly didn’t even register on the weight reader!
Lesson learned? Undo your twist locks BEFORE you start chatting to your mates, go for a p, reverse onto the bay etc
when i was in me teens, i tried “bouncing” a beetle that had blocked me in. grabbed hold of the front wing, gave it a good push down then lifted… and it came off in my hand

Never forget the story my boss told me about growing up in Liverpool. Late teens going out ‘booting’ aka breaking into car boots, him and his dozy mate decided to pick a Beetle. Him sawing at the lock while his mate kept look out. I’d have loved to see the look on his face when he opened the boot and was faced with an engine. “It’s got HT leads and everything”
I reckon that the greatest leap forward in road safety came when they started fitting colour coded plastic bumpers to trucks.
Many a time I’ve had to resist nudging a ghoul in front of me who’s slowed to walking pace to look at the accident on the opposite carriageway because of these bumpers.
Ah, the good old days with girders fitted to the front.

not exactly blocked in, but more a case of obstructed the loading bay i required
needless to say, the offending car required a new wing mirror, wing, bumper and indicator

up yours
Cernams in Paris.
Anybody that delivered Jag parts there for Mat a few years back will know the score
Havent deliberatly hit someone BUT had a numpty in a audi allroad try push his way in a slip road on the M8, i just held my ground he drove into me !
i pulled over on hard shoulder he drove off ,
I reported it to my boss he then told me, to report it to the police witch i did,
Audi driver reported it next day to police saying i had hit and run his car !!!
Just as well i had reported it , they where going to go have words with him .
never heard anymore about it .
Not a nudge but a drag
Many moons ago I did a job which involved leaving my empty flat on a dirt car park owned by the customer but abused by local office workers and shoppers. Space was coned off in front of the trailer as I had to get it out at 6pm.
When I arrived though the cones were moved and there was one car left left parked so tight to the headboard he must of oped his door under it and crawled out
A line of cars parked along the trailer too
meant a sneaky side couple was a non starter. With the aid of a ratchet strap we relocated the car to the other end of the car park
Many moons ago, I used to deliver furniture in a huge Removal van, one of the guys who rode shotgun would jump out and lift the back of car’s and just push them out the way for us to get through on tight roads, he seemed to have no problem at all in lifting them.
he was about 21, 5’7" and as strong as an ox, obviously this is back in the old days when most were rear wheel drive and had metal bumpers . It was amazing to watch and funniliy enough nobody ever confronted him over it
Owning an older Land Rover like Pete the Post they have their uses.
In the snow the other winter some hero had left his Peugot 306 outside our drive blocking the wifes car in. With other parked cars blocking the towing angle slightly it ended up in the middle of a deep drift out in the middle of the road. Oh dear what a shame
Once had some kid blocking our drive whilst delivering 2 doors down.
Mrs was wanting to go out, quick move it from me got the standard “2 minutes” reply.
Crow bar against the door ( for me to open and drop hand brake) soon got him sorted.
For some reason the cocky little runt didn’t challenge little ole me with a crow bar, strange that!
Not quite a nudge but a builder on a site dumper refused to get off while I loaded him this morning. Full throttle I launched the pea shingle over the skip and steering wheel straight onto his lap. His face was a picture and hadn’t a leg to stand on when he reported me as he shouldn’tve been sat on the dumper anyway.

and if he had got hurt do you think that you would still be blame free
simplest and most sensible would have been not to load him
