In my time at Pickfords we never had many smallish vans so many a time we would deliver half a dozen t chests using a 2000 cube van,money no object in them days,we have got four inch of snow up here in cheshire.

Jeff , 5 to 6 inches in the yard now :frowning: , t chests , i use to go up to the london docks with dad with his pocket filled with cash on the hope he could buy some , there bloody collectable now :laughing:

Passed a used truck dealers yesterday just off the m6 near warrington saw about 15 used Pickfords vans for sale,from a distance all looked like they had been well used.so thats the place they go to die.often wondered.

what was the first and last pickford wagon you drove Jeff ?

a couple years ago this wagon delivered cardboard to my wallingford store .
