In my time at Pickfords we never had many smallish vans so many a time we would deliver half a dozen t chests using a 2000 cube van,money no object in them days,we have got four inch of snow up here in cheshire.
Jeff , 5 to 6 inches in the yard now , t chests , i use to go up to the london docks with dad with his pocket filled with cash on the hope he could buy some , there bloody collectable now
Passed a used truck dealers yesterday just off the m6 near warrington saw about 15 used Pickfords vans for sale,from a distance all looked like they had been well used.so thats the place they go to die.often wondered.

"dads van has been handy this year for transhipping , it takes awhile but if you got the time its ok .
part of the load that went to france . bad access to load had to use dads van to get it up the lane to my truck .
