Hi Buzzer , yes buddy and after you finshed a hard day ,you would have to do a lot of cleaning etc , looks like hard work to me .We got a picture some where of dads grampy when he was a general carrier with a horsr and cart .

  Here is a big tart washing his pride and joy .

was a bit quite after xmas but now picking up , we have been a lot of the kitchen deliveries and taken on another bathroom company after the last one decided to finsh .Hope this year goes well and hope we get rid of this bloody double dip recession gosip.

Wish Dad was here to assist us in the office , hope he is watching from behind a old truck of his by the pearley gates .

The 2hoff " turned fifty yesterday and this is what the young porters gave him , 50 maroon baloons and a 50 on the screen plus two birthday cakes , must say it took it with a smile .

one more .

another .

The young lads went home, but phil got the baloons out ofhis truck and filled a day cab sprinter with the whole 50 ballons  , he was on holiday to day so they could not get him back .

If he has enough puff to blow up 50 balloons at the end of the day you ain’t been working him hard enough!!

long walk on a friday ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

Totally agree Steve, posted a pic on here somewhere of my old Dodge on Minty Furniture, I caned that old wagon all over England/Scotland/Wales & it never missed a beat! Away all week, bench seat as my bed, blankets hung up round at night as curtains, single ring primus stove doubled as night-heater & kettle boiler for early morning brew, x2 sleeping-bags with wooly hat & gloves to keep me alive at night! Fantastic, cos that sort of job was where you learnt the trade, they wouldn’t do it now!

Regards Chris

Yes Chris , when we were small dad use to trot off and be gone for days ,no heaters and no curtains and no bed apart from 100 blankets in the back , never did him any harm and me  , i do like the beds now though ! , and my own
