Had to go to this company yesterday in Wells Somerset , they said they have had no work for three weeks , we are flat out and turning work away .

Hi James , yes the move from Spaxton is for a three day move with three men with lots of packing (possible 100 book ctns) and a bit of china packing , the jobs a bit messy and untidy but we will see , the Wells firm with no work on , they priced my client £700 plus vat to move one sideboard and one music stand and six boxes from Wells to Headington 
, this all fitted in dads van (kangoo) , thats why they have no work , but to be fair I only said yes to them because I was going to Spaxton to do the quote .

We all put our prices up in the summer but my god, that price is ridiculous!

Hi Jeff , no not affected me buddy but I am glad that the law has changed and if you have a self storage locker you have to pay VAT the same as we would charge for our containers , it was not fair !!! , but it is now

Completely agree, could never understand the logic behind it!
Here are James , I loaded these containers out of Bishops self storage today , the main problem with Mr WILLIAMS was the self storage lockers were old offices not used in the main building with no locks , any how there was some damage but not much , The Bishops manager was not happy and I was loading from the front entrance in the building , 4 containers for 8 months minimum.
loading my truck at Blewbury oxon .(BUSY TODAY got Pete "donkey " dillion my part timer in to help load , keeps stopping for tea which pees me off but he is a very nice guy .

You have been busy! Glad there is not too much damage on Mr Williams’ goods, but if he hadn’t been tight in the firstplace…
Its always difficult when going into another company to take the goods out as you don’t want to upset the competition, but at the same time you have a customer to keep happy!
