An ex workmate of mine went to work for Wally and he had L500TTS. I believe it was Thorburns 1st brand new motor.

He must have had it after your mate because it had bigger ally tanks on it when he drove it.

Heres a later piccy I googled showing the ally tanks.

After my XL volvo the cab seemed tiny and being black with no aircon summer nights in southern europe were not a pleasant experience.

On the plus side it used to sound wonderful when pulling through the stacks and still looked good even though it was at least 5 years old at the time.

You’ve been round the back off Frans Maas’s Yarmouth warehouse for this 1 :wink:

If you look closely at the wheels, you’ll notice there very low profile tyres on standard rims, and if you could see it the 5th wheel is fixed, and also mounted close to the chassis. This was done to accomodate using 4.2 or 4.3 mtr high trailers on the continent :confused: , by making these alterations the trailer would run below 4 mtr’s. They also had some F12’s done in the same way :smiley:
