The TK actually belongs to Vauxhall themselves, its in their Heritage Centre in Luton as a show truck. The bought it in Belgium as a wreck and restored it to what you see now.

is that the old predator show truck■■?

no, the predator was a 6x2 S ride. thats a 6x4. i know this for a fact because i sold the truck to jon nicholls who done it up. my thoughts were the same as yours though dreva on first glance. now i look again, you are right, it is still an S ride but for some reason the bloke has put twin wheels on the rear axle.

it must have been a restoration project yella    when was it taken bb

I have cant remember for the life of me when it was taken…
Probably about 2 years ago…

What i did notice about it, and i am sure you have too, is that its not a proper Globetrotter, and judging by that hideous Bull Bar on the front, and the fact it looks like it could have been a 6X4, i think, that it may have been a Wagon and Drag Hay Carrier, that has been shortened down to Tractor Unit, nand had a roof conversion done on it. If you look, it does lok a little too long for factory 6 wheeler doesnt it??

SAD GIT MODE.
That Bedfords a wrong un, it has got the new fangled nancyboy dash.

A real Bedstead also had the dashboard painted with condensation running off it :stuck_out_tongue:

Some of these ,may have been posted on here or other truck sites before, so apolgies if you have seen any of them before…

I loaded a full load of Ammunition for the British Army from Swiss(Class 1.4S), Norfolk Line were the only ones who would ship it, I had pretty much the whole top deck to myself…

My very first delivery for Hueber’s, 6 miles from my house, and it p*ssed down!!!

Docking in Dover late one night on the SeaFrance NPC, they called us back to our trucks, then proceeded to take 45 minutes to get on the berth due to rough weather! As i was on the front, i took a couple of random shots…

What a lovely colour interior!! I lived with it for 2 weeks before taking the seat covers off!!

Nothing interesting about this truck really is there, just another foreigner, except that i followed him out of Cappeln, up to Dunkerque, I cleared Customs, had 9 off, and then when i got to Kelloggs in Trafford Park, he was in front of me at the gate!!!

Its days like this when driving feels like the best job in the world!!!

There’s just something about Wanlin i like, no idea what!!!

Not often you see Cappeln this empty during daylight hours!!

This particular day was ridiculously hot, and absolutely no breeze whatsoever!!

Basking in the evening Sun, Keskastel.

Anyone know what the hell these are for■■?

One of Macfarlanes, heading east from Metz on the A4

Me and Johnny(Scania Doctor), Mulhouse.

I saw 8 or 9 of these on this day, all Eastern Bloc Vehicles taking old English Sports Cars somewhere…

In the naughty boys corner, due to a small error on my part, i sat in Customs for 19 hours… For a lot of the day, i was the only one here…

I think this was taken from the Dartford Crosing, i cant rightly remember…

This always made me smile, no idea why, every time i saw it it made me laugh, then the week after this photo as taken, i had to load out of the very place the Logo advertized, it stopped being funny after that!!!

They have some amusing place names in Swiss…

On the St;Louis French/Swiss Border, this Spaniard was getting a proper turn out, Truck,Trailer, they we doing the lot. Had to be a bit sneaky with the photo for obvious reasons, hence its not very good quality!

Smart Swiss 143 Wagon and Drag seen here in Muttenz.

In the LKW Terminal, Muttenz, waiting to clear.

Random night shot of a Norfolk Line Boat…

And for now thats it, i am trying to get my old Laptop working, as there is about 2000 assorted pictures on there, but at the moment, it keeps overheating and switching itself off!

The clips inside rear wheels, are they to hold on wheels trims ?.
derek

excellent & interesting pics

This was something a little different, i loaded a specialist printing machine from Ilkeston, and delivered it to Goldach, down near Lake Constance in Switzerland.
