Well yeah, Don’t think the Chinese could do much worse
It’ll prob have poor build quality, rust and reliability problems and some cheap skate company will buy loads.
Then in 5 years time they will be the best truck on the market for the money!
Or they’ll just disappear - Hino?
So they copied a Mercedes only made it smaller 'cause Chinese people are little so companies will now advertise for ‘small drivers with a DCPC’…we like
their food so we’ll probably like their trucks and the real selling point…no doubt they’ll be cheap and if they throw a few meal vouchers around it might
even end up ‘Truck of the Year’ in the year of the Meerkat.
Mercedes Actros MP2 clone.
If you get one, expect dodgy electrics, plastic trim made out of old chocolate box inserts and build quality akin to a Lada Riva.
It will be cheap so if it does become available to the UK, some poor sod on here will undoubtedly end up with one.
You have my sympathy.
It looks like a mixture of every lorry made, mungrel : its time to move on when thats your motor for a few years
If theyre only going to be doing euro 3 yhen its already a non starter.

although both ■■■■■■■ and Volvo Group could no doubt supply it with Euro VI powerplants if desired.
Blow’s your comment out then eh

Which would no doubt have a huge impact on the overall cost which is the ONLY selling point of this truck.

So for a cheap motor that may Never ever go into London the E3 would have no factor in its sales though would it
It looks as though it is fairly like the Japanese Mitsis and Fusos they are big in Australia and NZ and I would think they will fit whatever engine is required for a particular market. Eddie.

I will try to be a little more civil than Nick, but not really. There are two Chinese manufacturers already selling coaches here and throughout Europe at Euro 5 with ■■■■■■■ motors in them and they are able to substantially undercut the likes of Volvo, Scania and so on to the tune of about £50k per unit. Both are committed to Euro 6, one at least with DAF engines, and they will no doubt continue to be massively cheaper.
Even though they have to ship them halfway around the globe, economies of scale in China mean they can do this. They turn buses and coaches out over there on the same scale that Vauxhall turn out Astras.
As said o here before .it looks like they have bought the castings from several manufacture’s a bit like when Rover sold out.
What Wiki do da says
it also manufactures parts and cooperates with foreign companies. Counting six global automakers as partners, it has more Sino-foreign joint ventures than any other Chinese carmaker. These partnerships allow it to produce and sell a variety of foreign-branded products in China including those of Citroën, Honda, Kia, Nissan, Peugeot, and Renault. Other brand names associated with Dongfeng include Fengshen, Infiniti, Luxgen, and Venucia. Heavy-duty commercial vehicles and buses are sold under the eponymous Dongfeng brand.
