Coming up soon, Trans-Pennine Run Heywood(normally Birch Services) to the Stray Harrogate 4th August.
Hi, John,
Are you able to confirm time & place of the start?
As far as I know it will start from Birch services (M62) eastbound
It starts from Birch services (westbound side). First vehicles usually start leaving around 7.30am.
I’ll be on the run, hopefully at the wheel of Bowkers left hand drive low ride Volvo F10 - now its old enough to take part in the Trans Pennine!
Will this weeks flooding in Todmorden affect the route of the run as I think it usually goes through Todmorden?

Hi JC, I wonder if this Mellor firm was anyway related to David Mellor from the Ashbourne area ■■, Regards Larry. PS They ran a lot of Fodens in the old days.
Sorry Larry but dont know anything about T Mellor but I was hopeing someone like Windrush(Pete) could help with him living in that area.By the way cracking photos you posted from the Red Row show you were at today.
Terry Mellor owns the Albion Claymore breakdown lorry pictured above, he is no relation as far as I am aware to David who used to operate from Sandybrook Garage, Ashbourne. Terry is the commercial section steward for Cromford Steam Rally, hence his early arrival on site, he also organises Belper Steam Rally and The Limestone Run.
