Visibilty System Malfunction

Hi,

I was driving a Scania R420 last night when an orange warning displayed on the info screen. The message read ‘VIS Visibilty System Malfunction’. I double checked that all of my lights were working and couldn’t find any other faults for this to be displayed. It appeared a number of times during the night. Does anyone know what this warning means?

Cheers,

Neil.

Were the wipers/washers working

Sorry but I cannot resist …

It means stop looking at pretty dash lights and keep your EYES on the road

cracked windscreen … jesus do i have to know everything round here … :sunglasses:

faulty stealth mode :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

If it’s a Scania it means you have to much vision available to you. Try pulling the curtains 3/4 across the side windows, filling the windscreen with tables, flags, coffee maker and tassled pelmets. That’ll cure it

Sounds like some government speak for screenwash empty

Same thing happened to "mymate " when he drove this scania

I’ve told you Jim, Hobbs needs to sit in the middle

It’s just the climate control struggling to demist the windscreen.

It happens to mine when the weather is warm and muggy. Just select the windscreen on the dial and turn the fan up to five (sadly it doesn’t go all the way to eleven). Give it a blast for a couple of minutes and the warning will clear.

Just realised!

This thread is just a fit up between Coffee and Jimboy so they could play that video while Coffee messes about in the pub…

Fell for it hook, line and sinker… Enjoy your night off Coffee.

Going by the driving though, I think it’s more Italian

With a bit of practice Neil could do that stunt with a trailer on !!
