Do you know where these ERF were going when pictured in Le Havre haven in 1969 ?
Yes! They were going to a phosphate mine in Jordan. About 50 of them were ordered and most of them were driven overland and delivered by drivers. This is a splendid picture which I’ve not seen before. There’s plenty of information about them on a thread I started years ago called something like RHD & LHD ERF 4MWs. I’ll see if I can find it and bump it up for you; and while I’m at it, I’ll pop the picture on there.
