Buzzer1972 and an LD van still around, I certainly remember them but not as an adult.
I remember them, I knew them inside out mechanically! 
We were still selling new ones in 1968 which was when production ended and the EA series was launched, we also serviced/repaired the LD Ambulances that Berkshire had and they kept them well into the seventies.
