If you like V twins Jake this is me on McGuiness’s old Vimto SP Honda but it’s in endurance spec with a softer engine and twin fill fuel tank. Still an unforgiving and savage barsteward thoughNow I’m impressed, ridden an SP 1 on the road. Lovely bike and cracking engine. Do you know the bhp of that one compared to standard?
The power was nothing to write home about when compared to todays 230+bhp hyper bikes. The engine it came with was sold because it was highly tuned and therefore no good for endurance racing. I’m not positive but I think it was around the 150bhp mark. It had some work done but it needed to last 24 hours living in the redline so it wasn’t too outrageous.
