President TRUMP

Merkel will be re-elected, but Hollande . . . now there’s a different scenario  He has the lowest rating of any French President, including de Gaulle. He could even be ousted by his own prime minister during his socialist party’s leadership contest in January before the presidential election in May next year. :open_mouth:

A quote this morning from Corbyn on the US election result:

“It’s a rejection of a failed … governing elite that has been seen not to have listened”

Ironic that this comes from the same man who thinks that the working people of Sunderland’s concerns about immigration are just uneducated, racist and wrong and can therefore safely be ignored.

Nicola Sturgeon has said that “the will of the American people must be respected”

And yet she doesn’t respect the Scottish peoples will in their independence referendum or the British peoples will in the EU referendum!

Politicians just seem to do hypocrisy so well. :unamused:

I’ve never heard of kate hoey til you mentioned her. I had to google the name to know who she is, which goes to prove that shes not setting the brexit agenda. shes not anyone whos going to be able to influence the UKs position going forward. shes in the oppostion

this is admittedly because I spent the last five years living in south east asia, and I actually landed at Dover on the 23rd of june by total coincidence, too late to register to vote in the referendum. I flew into cologne and took a bus back to London, a bus that was briefly held up on the motorway outside Calais by migrants blockading the road

Politics, man. If you’re hanging onto a rising balloon, you’re presented with a difficult decision - let go before it’s too late or hang on and keep getting higher, posing the question: how long can you keep a grip on the rope?

The baloon analogy in this case applies to both EU federalism and global free market economics. The fact that some of the opponents of the former might still be part of the latter is irrelevant. On that note why the double standards in thinking that the EU is of any benefit to us in that regard.Or the bs idea that people like Hilary Clinton,or Juncker or Merkel and their German banker and EU commissioner elite rulers aren’t just as bad as John Redwood in that regard.IE we need a working class Nationalist choice and it’s more likely that people like Farage and Davis and Hoey will eventually provide it than going along with the Federalist idealistic PC ideology of zb wits like Corbyn and Farron. On that note the election of Trump is a game changer in terms of gaining credibility for the Nationalist working class Labour cause.

Look on the bright side it’s possibly more a case that they know that they can no longer dismiss working class Nationalism as racist crack pots rather than a force to be reckoned with. That’s more than capable of smashing their bs Politically Correct supposed monopoly of the working class cause. :bulb:

The Clinton’s are such lovely people!

Mathew Paris, the epitome of the liberal metropolitan elite’s, no longer trusts democracy because it doesn’t deliver the results he wants.

Now we can so easily discover what a ‘majority’ think they want at any one moment, and — worse — ignorant hooligans can discover with a click on a keyboard that there are millions like them out there — our faith in democracy, our faith in the ‘government by the people’ part of the trio, is being tested to its logical limit.

What a surprise. So he’s saying let’s re run the election this time with all the Trump vote removed. :smiling_imp:

America is now run by the man who had a cameo role in home alone 2. What could possibly go wrong.

So you feel that a racist, bigoted, misogynistic man with a dubious record of truth telling is a suitable leader for America?
True colours or should that just be colour, are coming out now. Don’t forget in supporting Trump you’re aligning with the KKK ffs! Maybe you all have big cabs though then you can sit as far to the right as possible [emoji57]

I do sympathise with those in my demograph in the USA but feel saddened they hadn’t a more suitable figurehead to back whilst railing against the establishment.
Nice that he’ll repeal Abamacare as a priority kicking the very heart of his support in the nuts. Seems it’s a burden on rich taxpayers, not that Trump will be bothered about that with his tax record!

For anyone comparing Trump victory with Brexit think on this.
Brexit polled more votes so won.
Trump polled LESS votes so won.

What a ridiculous statement. What if the kkk like chocolate cake? If I like chocolate cake am I aligned to them? You can only be aligned to the kkk if you like the kkk, not because you both like someone else :unamused:

Support for a political candidate/party means being aligned in your ideas and beliefs surely. Hardly the same as having a liking for something!
I quite like Ruth Davidson as a person but in no way support her political views. See the difference?

im quite happy in my own completely racist, sexist, bigoted world and always think if adolf had won or the kkk made the rules then the uk wouldn’t be down the toilet and have lost its entire identity as it has now…go trump…if he is a complete 2 faced liar, then he will blend in nicely with the rest of them both in the usa as well as here.

It’s called the Federal government system. You know the same one that gives the unelected Commissioners and people like Juncker as much power if not more as MEP’s in the EU and which Lincoln used to burn the CSA to the ground and which Obama supported and used to his own advantage. No surprise that Federalists only selectively support Federalism when it goes in their favour. :unamused:

Also bearing in mind UKIP’s one seat for 4 million votes under the UK parliamentary system which I don’t hear EU supporters moaning about.

You do realise that his ‘support’,that as an obvious socialist, true to form, you seem to have taken on yourself to decide what ‘they’ want, actually likes the idea of high wage employment paying them enough for private health provision. Not the bs debt ridden and rationed Socialist NHS version.

Truth of the matter is he ain’t wrong, let’s see where the world is in 4 years time.

It’ll obviously be in a safer place than where it would be if we go on allowing the PC anti Putin brigade like zb Hilary and her supporters to kick off a fight with Russia.Just because he’s upset their obsession with the LGBT agenda in the Eurovision song contest and plans for EU expansion into Ukraine. :open_mouth:

While I’m sure that those working class Trump voters, who want their jobs brought back from Mexico and China, will be a lot happier if/when he succeeds in doing it.
