Whiplash. Strangely enough I used to see a Haelewijns driver with Danzas trailer regularly called Krulle. He drove Stuttgart-Birmingham-Stuttgart. I know he made it to Ireland a couple of times.

Fabulous pics on here. I did a bit on the agency a while ago for Pat Nolan and Gwynnedd Shipping so used to see a lot of these motors during the evening. Does anyone recall the huge (I think) green F10 wagon and drag of Irish Express or something similar? Not sure if it was the same firm but did they have a yard next to Holmes Chapel station? Think the same motor ended up on its side on a windy Rhuallt

This was the logo of Irish Express, not sure Hayday where youre getting the green bit from■■??And they had a pace near Crewe I think. Alas poor old Pat Nolan himself is passed away! Rhualt!Good old days before the dual carriageway!Ran out of diesel there and a very obliging copper gave me a lift to and from the petrol station at the bottom of the hill, complete with a few drums of diesel!Dont make em like him anymore!

Ah shame about Mr Nolan RIP and I think I’m getting my firms mixed up! I remember them in your pic but these were defo green (mind you it was usually about 3 in the morning and I’d been up a while!)
