Has Tewkesbury mill (Healings/ABM) been redeveloped yet? I know the workshops came down but heard the main building with it’s drunken silo was still much the same.

Hi Muckaway,Healings mill is still for sale the Lab and some silos this side of the bridge have been demolished and the warehouse and bulk outloading bay and the weighbridge/transport gone also it looks a very sad state with broken windows etc 12years this November since it shut cheers Keith.

Was the lab formerly the Blizzard Brewery? We walked around there yesterday and noticed the overhead pipes from the mill going into there.

It was Rank Hovis McDougall, Mothers Pride Bread was their main brand baked by subsidiary division British Bakeries. On the back of the body it carried this slogan “this is the wheat that makes the flour that bakes the bread that mother used to make”. At the time “mother” was the character used in TV adverts for the bread.
