Did they ever run a top end Seddon with a tri axle flat ?.
I seem to remember one loading bagged lime at Ashwood Dale Quarry off the A6 near Buxton.
This would have been in 70s and was one of the first tri axle trailers i had seen,
I spoke to the driver several times and i know he was from from Fife,
Wishart is the only name that comes to mind,There were a good few haulage companies around Fife, Wisharts was one of them.
Another was Moffats of Cardenden. Their paint scheme was beige with brown lines and sign writing. They moved to Dalgetty Bay in the 80s and changed their name to suit.
They ran British motors, Sed’ Ack’s, Albions and ERFs later on.
