second man

i know its the law to have a second man on a wideload over 11,6but whats the law on age were getting lads of 16 without
any idea of the concept of moving a wide load.i now it is not there responsabilty of the load thats our worry. but a lad
let a driver reverse in to a post last week…
but it could have been worse, some one might of got hurt or killed,
these lads doit as cash in hand,as there fathers work with in the company .so thats wrong for a start .what about there insurance libility… and so on,
i don,t want to get stopped by p.c plod and find out that their age is wrong and leave me in the , ,
don,t get me wrong here everyone has to start somewere but i,m looking after number 1 here me ,
so i could do with some advice on the legal side of things

When I did my CPC as far as I can remember they were no requirements on who the 2nd man is/should be! :open_mouth:
