Just come out of a meeting to discuss the offers for the Open Day. I’m sworn to secrecy but I can get away with letting you all know that, in addition to the normal great deals, there’s a really spectacular offer this time.
Cant answer questions; you need to turn up on Saturday morning (9 till around 2.30) and find out. If you cant make it, the offers stand till 4.30pm Monday so you can call and get the details and make a phone booking if you wish. If that’s the plan, better to call on Monday 8 - 4.30.
Will you be doing anything for us who have already passed our tests?
Either reduced CPC training or ADR?
I’m working on Friday night - and the chances of me wanting to have a go reversing are slim after a 13-15 hour shift driving the things. But I wouldn’t mind coming back for an ADR course if you were offering something I’d struggle to turn down

Peter, I can’t now get to your open day unfortunately, however I am interested in this.
Can I ask two things -
Would the only additions financially to this be the medical and theory test?
The short CE course - would this be equivalent to a standard CE course, in other words on passing this could you drive class 1?

Yes, the only extras are medical and theory tests. If you live more than 70 miles from NG17 3FW, we’ll make a contribution of £100 towards accommodation. This should cost no more than £35 per night so it’s almost paid for.
Yes again, the CE gained on a drawbar is exactly the same licence as CE gained on an artic. It’s easier which is why the course is shorter and less expensive. We also schedule the CAT C to be the same vehicle (or virtually the same) as the one you use for CE. So no new controls to learn etc.
I suggest an Artic Conversion Course which lasts half a day. This gives you training and practice in coupling and uncoupling a “normal” artic, reversing and a good long drive. Cost is £300. Some folks do this for confidence but it’s not a legal requirement.
If you’d like to register for this offer, call us on 01623 555661 preferably before 9am today (Saturday) or in normal office hours on Monday.
So that’s another successful Open Day; thanks to the Trucknetters who made it. Remember the offer is still available for those who couldn’t make it today. Just call the office on Monday - before 4.30pm - and take advantage of the offer.
This wont be repeated any time soon - so don’t miss out.
Sorry, it’s not something we offer at the moment. Locally, try Merritts at Kirkby in Ashfield. Not sure if they cover the cpc with it but well worth a call.
