We had somthing similar in Hong Kong when AMEC were involved with the new Airport.
The tractor units were MAN’s and we shipped the trailer/bus out from a place in Bradford.
They were used to ferry the workers in and out and around the massive site.
No windows and no aircon, twas a might warm 
When the job was finished fourteen units were shipped back to the UK.
Amec still use some of them on the road. One runs out of their Darlington depot.
