You need to download MyDrive for the PC (or get the mobile app) and you can then add poi’s through that.
If you go to pocketgpsworld.com you can download custom poi’s like Mc’D’s, truckstops or Motorway services and so on, not sure if you can only add those via PC though.

Tomtom 6200 (6250) will synchronise itself (if connected to wifi)
There is no need to download anything on this two models

You can download MyDrive and install it as a standalone program but yes you can just use the online version (which I forgot about tbh), but you still need to download the custom poi’s I mentioned from pocketgpsworld, which you then add via MyDrive that then syncs with your device, hopefully explained it better that time.
