Zippo lighter

What a lighter any ideas peeps

Where I can get one that is. That’s the front of the king James bible if your wondering

Zippo have been a major lighter supplier for years and do have some interesting designs but a Zippo…well I smoke a lot and have used a Zippo in
the past…so you fill it with petrol and fire up and the first few drags on your ■■■ are just like a mouthful siphoning petrol but I couldn’t say whether
Zippo today offer a gas alternative. Been part of the Yanks smoking history for years but not mine.

That is a rare one! Keep a watch on ebay, you just might be lucky and find one there.

I have a few Zippo’s collected when I was a smoker, and a couple of very good fakes that I bought just because I liked the design.

Any self respecting trucker needs a Zippo, in a belt pouch, to light his Marlboros… The pouch should ideally match his wallet on a chain.

Every US Navy ship issues it’s own Zippo usually with an enamelled picture of the ship on one side and the ships crest on the other, they are very collectable.
Zippo’s were designed to overcome the hassle of lighting up in a gale force wind such as on the deck of a ship at sea so they became very popular with seamen all over the world.
the big downside, as has been pointed out, they stink of lighter fuel and drink it like some huge Detroit V8 lump but they come with a lifetime guarantee.
To me they are an American icon.

They were also designed so they could be refueled by dipping them into an American Jeep’s fuel tank, you just pulled the outer cover off, tied a shoe lace to the holes at the top of the Zippo and dunked it down into the fuel tank
