I’ve had it all today,
Two people standing by one having a chat - pull up so they can cross and then they wave me off and move away from the crossing.
Trying to anticipate the actions of the person of the pavement are they going to walk past it or suddenly stop and turn and expect to cross straight away.
Or just when someone has just about ambled across the road someone else steps on the crossing and when they get there it happens again 
When I use the things I always make sure that if with my kids we all arrive at it together or wait away from the road edge so it is obvious we are not ready to cross and I usually have a look both ways before getting to the crossing hopefully communicating to drivers that I am planning on crossing.
Aaaaaargh. Rant over.

On the other Hand.
in many Countries they haven’t priority as long as they don’t try to step on the Cebra Crossing.In our Country you can stay there talking for an Hour,as long as you don’t start walking onto the Crossing.
In other Contries,likje Uk there is it enough to stay next to the Crossing to make Traffic stop.
Didn’t know that when i arrived for Holiday,was standing shooting Pictures and noticed car horns with the Time,When i looked whats on they showed me over,but i hadnt in mind to go.Just taking Pictures of buildings and Statues.
So mayby tourists?

same as the f.king idiots who indicate right at roundabouts, although theyre going straight on, afterv i`ve slammed my brakes on thinking theyre going right, now thats an AAAAARRRRR

And the ■■■■■ who turn left after not indicating, making you stop because you think they are going straight on. Also women waiting to cross the road who stand on the kerb and push their buggy into the road, invariably within 50m of a pedestrian crossing they can’t be arsed to walk to.

My 12 old lad had someone nearly hit him as he crossed the road on his way back from school, the female driver shouted at him “You’ve got eyes, use them” to which he shouted back “You’ve got indicators, use them”
Wonder who he takes after?..
A pedestrian intending to cross should put one foot into the road to clearly signal their intention to cross. No foot in the road, no need stop.
