Yusen logistics northampton

should be getting an assessment in a couple of days. not full time but agency. decided to try something new:) so what’s the crack with the place please. thanks

Is it driving a rigid or artic? I work for a company where we sub for them on rigid work, they are very health and safety concious, but like to praise there drivers for good driving scores on scania, no infringements, no accidents etc. They do also like to keep an eye on your hours and download your card everyday. Im not sure about northampton, but in bristol the money isnt great, and it is kinda physical work, double stacked washing machines/washer driers which can be heavy. Also, you will deliver to tiny independent retailers where the shop is very small on a very narrow road in a little village. But the routes are set and eventually you will start doing them in 6/7hrs, and getting paid 9/10hrs. Also the one in bristol literally never ever works om weekends. Artic work is different tho, it could be a full load of washing machines etc to a independent retailer or could be 4/5 drops to rdc’s where they only keep you for a max of 1.5hrs, something to do with there t&cs. They are park of a very big group tho, the nyk group. Bit of an essay, but Hope this helps

Oh, piece of cake then :sunglasses: literally, there depot drops are either drop and swap or go and have a coffee whilst they tip you, then reload you. They even secure the load too. And like i said, the rdc’s arent too bad, and the office bods are very laid back, if you turn up and for some reason they refuse you, the office will just tell you to bring it back. They money isn’t too bad on class 1 too.
